I may blush easily, but I’ve never been called bashful. I love this pleated midi-skirt that I purchased in the spring, and it’s proving to be a great transitional piece as we leave the summer months behind us.

Summer Textures

Texture1

Here’s what you can count on for summertime weather in the South: HOT temps, HIGH humidity, and HEAVY rain showers. I spend most days praying for nothing higher than 90 degrees, low humidity and no rain since most of my work days are spent in and out of offices all across northwest Georgia and northeast Alabama. And while the heat and humidity often seems like my worst enemy, it’s really the cold that kills me. And by cold, I mean offices that I spend my time in each day. So, without making this a story where I complain about the bipolar temperatures I encounter every day, I’ll turn this into how much I love mixing textures – even in the summer months.
