Fringe with Benefits

Every color I love combined into one dress with fringe…I can’t even contain my excitement. And it allowed for the hot pink suede pumps to come out and play again. Do yourself a favor and visit one of my favorite boutiques, Mel & Mimi, and buy this dress. Yourself will thank you. It’s easy, and while it’s patterned, it’s so versatile you’ll find yourself reaching for it and switching up accessories often.

We decided on a last minute getaway this past weekend, and it was much needed for ALL of us. Some days, you just need a cozy hotel room, relaxation and room service to unwind and recharge. And as I’ve gotten “older” I am very thoughtful in how I pack for weekend escapes. I like clothes that don’t require a lot of fuss, and this romper is by far one of the easiest and most versatile pieces in my closet. The options to accessories are nearly endless.

And look at Baby J. You can tell he received puppy pampering at its finest over the weekend.

A pop up rain storm threatened our date at Barnsley Gardens, but spending a few uninterrupted hours with J was exactly what I needed over the weekend. If I’ve learned anything this year, I’ve learned to take what comes your way and savor every moment. And in this moment, I just can’t get enough of this peplum blouse.

Top: Anthropologie (lucky you, it’s currently on sale); Pants: Target; Shoes: BP; Sunglasses: Michael Stars (available at Mel&Mimi); Bag: Hobo International; Watch: Rolex; Jewelry: Vintage, David Yurman, Alisa

Georgia Peach

Nothing says summer in the South more than an ice cold Coke and fresh peaches, which were the inspiration for this weekend’s outings with friends.

**Apologies for the mid-morning update, but some of the pictures were not loading properly, and I was a bit excited about this mostly-Target ensemble. I must give credit to my Ma for this fashion lesson…as long as you’re wearing a great pair of shoes and carrying a nice “pocketbook,” the cost of the dress (or jeans and top here) doesn’t really matter.

Jeans, Shirt & Sunglasses: Target; Trench: Ann Taylor (similar here); Shoes: Tory Burch; Purse: Louis Vuitton; Earrings: Unknown; Bracelets: David Yurman, Kate Spade, JCrew, Alisa, Unknown; Watch: Michael Kors; Necklaces: Tiffany & Co, Unknown

Hole Punched

I picked up this little dress during my Spring visit to NYC at Mint, a favorite little spot in my old neighborhood, the Upper West Side. The popping cobalt color is one of my favorites, and the cut out design makes for a breezy summer dress. Feeling the need for a little Vitamin C, I added citrus accessories for a final punch.
