Just a small town girl inspired by big city lights, Ali moved to New York after graduating from Auburn University and spent several years working in the television industry (Martha Stewart, ABC and MTV Networks programs) before relocating to the metro-Atlanta area. In love with one man (John), her Shih Tzu (Jack), and hundreds of pairs of shoes, every day is filled with excitement.

In her journey, Ali has always found happines in four favorites – fashion, food, family and friends. And lately, she’s learning all about the importance of finances. A girl must look her best, for she never knows who she’ll meet. However, looking her best doesn’t always mean going broke. As Ali learned from her grandmother, a fine pair of heels, a great bag, good hair and a little lipstick cover up a ten dollar dress. Looking the part while cushioning your nest egg isn’t a giant quest. It’s simply being a modern & savvy girl.
